Great Sports Betting Advice That Really Works

The business of sports betting has been around for more than a decade now. Today, betting in sports is more organized because it is done online, through a sports betting system. People, especially sports enthusiasts, are being drawn into the business because of its promise of a definite return on investment.
Reality check: Although a bet could get you a hefty amount of money the quick way, there are really no shortcuts to winning through and through, since there's always a chance you lose. If you are thinking about investing in sports betting, here are some tips to help you comprehend the technicalities of the process.
Tip#1: Be your own man. The mistake many bettors make is being under the influence of somebody, or something. People have various opinions about gambling, and will have all sorts of advice to tell you, from the most superstitious to analytical. If you listen to them, you will not be able to use your own judgment to make sound betting choices.
Also, if you like gracing Las Vegas casinos with your presence once in a while, do you ever wonder why there is are overflowing free drinks while you gamble? You should have known better. These casinos hate the extremely lucky ones. They feed you alcohol, because the substance is known to impair your judgment. You'll wake from a hangover wondering what you did with your hard-earned money, and why it has been reduced to zilch.
Tip#2: Do your homework. Don't just gamble, gamble and gamble away. If you like to think of it as an investment, you need to do your statistics homework, as it will help you predict future wins. Aside from this, you will also need to streamline your research. The internet is home to millions of information, and some are not reliable. Once you've found an online source that was true to its words, stick to it for future reference.
Tip#3: Schedule your bets. The most proficient of bettors bet small fries. In football for instance, squares usually bet later in the event, when they choose their favorites. If you would like to bet underdog, you could delay your bet for as long as you can, because that is when expert betters significantly act of favorites. However, if you are putting a wager on a favorite, do it early in the week, because this is the time when Pros wager a lot of cash on these points.

Sports Betting System - When is 5% More Than 5%?

Sports betting is just like everything else in life.  There are rules to follow and guidelines to go by to ensure success. The problem is that most people don't know what the rules are when placing money on expert NFL picks, NBA picks and MLB picks.  They go through this process, more or less, blindly, hoping that one bet will be the miracle one that draws in a fortune.  They fail to realize that just by looking at sports betting that way, they are breaking one of its cardinal rules.  In order to survive the sports investing market, you will have to know the rules as well as the experts.
The first major rule of sports betting is to keep your professional sides and your business sides separate.  Any quality sports betting system owner will tell you is to set up a separate account just for investing purposes.  No one who expects to last long will use their personal funds to finance betting.  In fact, most decent companies recommend using less than 5% of your bankroll on onetime bets and less than 3% on bets that happen over time.  A good rule of thumb is to never bet more than you can afford to lose.  Ideally, you won't lose much of anything, but that isn't realistic.  Keeping your investments down will help you keep your losses down, while still seeing a profit.
The second major rule of sports betting is to learn the difference between gambling and investing.  In gambling, when you lose, it's time to either stop or up your bets in order to make up for lost funds.  With a sports betting system, your money is an investment, not a gamble.  Sometimes, people lose money on their investments.  This is a natural byproduct of the way the market is designed.  However, you cannot resort to upping your investment to catastrophic heights to make up the difference.  If you have patience, and have chosen your system well, then you will make significantly more money than you lose over time.
The last rule of sports betting system is to know how much to invest at a time.  This is perhaps the most difficult of the rules, because it is the most subjective.  Five percent is fairly general.  However, the 5% available funds of a millionaire will be different then the 5% of a blue-collar worker.  Ideally, you want to have at least $500 to invest, but the full amount may be different for you.

Betting Odds of American Roulette - Is It a Safe Bet Or a Big Risk?

When it comes to roulette, it is all about pure luck and with no doubt, there is no proven way to evade the house edge in this game. No matter you are betting on your lucky number, your birthday date or even the last two digits of your phone numbers, it is all the same at the end. Most people think that roulette is no-skill game.
In some cases, the dealer who had been throwing the ball for a long time, do not change the releasing spot, the angle and the speed of the ball so, it lands in a small range of numbers. Only those who are closely monitoring the game could spot such cases and start to bet accordingly. This type of players can predict where the ball is going to land.
Another rare case where luck is not the only factor is the case of defected roulette wheel. A crack in the wheel or a difference in the height of the metallic strips between the numbers could be the reason for unbalanced wheel. This is a rare condition because any casino management is monitoring the wheel balance closely and they will discover such defect very quickly.
Several casinos now have screens displaying the last dozen of numbers that appeared on the roulette wheel. Some players prefer to wager the numbers that appear more than once in these numbers, others would concentrate on the last numbers with a hope that the wheel is unbalanced. Other players would prefer to follow the winning players on the table hoping that they have the secret of winning. These systems have the same winning odds as other systems too.
Systems of betting
Roulette is a slow-paced game, when compared to other casino games. This makes the game players more prone to follow a betting system. Some systems could minimize the losses and others could yield disastrous results. Below, you will find a handful of the systems that proved a high level of reliability over the last decades.
Martingale betting strategy
Whenever you lose, you double the next bet so, when you win, the profit is equal to your original bet. An initial bet of 5 $ and three consecutive losses then a winning at the fourth round will result in 5 $ net profit. At that point you can start over again with the initial bet.
In a perfect world, this could be a very safe solution but it is hardly applicable in the real world because of many things. Among the most important reason is the table limits. For example if you started betting with 5$ and you are doubling your bet every loss then you are paying 320 $ on the seventh round. If the table has a limit of 500 $ then you won't be able to enter the 8th round with 640 $ and you are not able to compensate your previous losses.
Nothing guarantee that after 7 losses you will eventually win. The wheel has no memory so the losing or the winning series could last for unpredictable periods and who is capable of risking 640 $ just to win 5$.
Grand martingale betting strategy
Another amplification of losses and increment of money at stakes, in this betting system, the player will double the bet and add another betting unit. This means that a 5 $ initial bet will be 15 $ on the next up to 600 $ on the sixth bet. This means that your opportunity to win is even lower than the martingale betting system.
Cancellation betting strategy
This is relatively safer than the other betting systems but, it is not delivering a solid solution for the problem. In this method, the player will set a series of numbers with a summation equals to his initial bet and when he wins, he omits the winning numbers at both ends of the series. In case of losing, the wager value is added to one end of the series.
If everything goes smoothly, like a loss followed by a winning round then couple of losses and winning again then three more losses. The sequence will be 3 - 3 - 6 - 9 so, the player will only put 12 $ at stakes and 2 winning in a row will close this series of number bringing the player back to square one. Although the cancellation betting system won't get the player to bet large wages, it can still bring up a lot of losses before you can make a winning complete sequence.
As a conclusion, the roulette game is an easy game that depends on luck and chances, the real skill is delaying your bet to the farthest point before the wheel stops. You can probe this strategies by trying free no download roulette before playing for real money.

Learning to Play Poker - Simple Strategies to Win

This article will address the main question of whether to slowplay or be aggressive. Probably more than once you've thought: "Hey I have the nuts! I'll let villain hit his hand so I can get valued from him!"
It has happened me sometimes, but it is not always the right mindset to have. Let me start by defining what slowplay is:
Slow play is when you check or call a bet in order to "under-represent" your hand vs. villain, so he may "over-play" his own hand.
Keep in mind that to slow play, you really need to have a near-unbeatable hand, such as a set in a super dry flop, or the nut straight in a non-flush non-paired board.
Also, you cannot slow play (well you can't but will be unprofitable) against a player who is passive. Player needs to really be a maniac to play, because otherwise you're going to get checked behind.
Duc Volpe 2c 2d
3 more players enter the pot.
Flop: 2s, 7c, 8s
In this example we see that Duc_Volpe has a set of deuces. It would be unprofitable for him to slow play here because it's a multi-way pot and it's a drawy board; it's bound to happen often that a player here may hold here a flush draw and most likely chase it until the river.
If Duc_Volpe decides to slow play here two things may happen:
A player may complete the flush with a non 7 spade and we become 22:77 underdogs
Everyone checks and Duc_Volpe loses  here the right way to play the hand is to go ahead bet or check-raise. I like check-raise here because it gets more money in the pot and because I don't like to bet in front of everyone when I don't have the initiative (that is: I didn't raise preflop, but called instead).
HOWEVER....
One thing that happens in micros with slow playing is the next: you're not going to profit much from this strategy.
People in micros like to call a bet rather than make it themselves. And it sounds logical as they're weak players who don't like to "risk money" when they do not have a hand yet, but are willing to pay up to the river to see if they complete their hand.
So in general, being aggressive is a much better way to go, because even in flops as dry as they can get, if people hold suited cards they might be willing to call to see if the turn brings them a draw, or to see if their overcard hit.
So let's wrap it up very quickly:
In order to slow play, you need both a monster hand and an aggressive player. You also need to be somewhat consistent with your actions because if you've never slow played any hand, it will look extremely suspicious even to fishes that do not pay attention.
Slow playing might work if the condition above is fulfilled, otherwise, you're going to have a much easier time extracting value out of your monsters by playing the hand straight-forwardly. Remember that people in micros like to call more than they like to bet!
Good Luck At The Tables!

Blackjack Strategy - A Simple Betting Strategy

This article assumes that you already have a decent knowledge of the game. If not, at the end of this article I have a resource that should be of great help. For now, I'm going to share with you a simple blackjack betting strategy that should help keep you ahead of the house and in the black...pardon the pun. I hope you find this helpful.
Okay, let's explain the theory behind the strategy. Blackjack, assuming that you know your basic strategy inside and out, is about an even game of chance with the house having a slight edge. In other words, mathematically, out of two hands of blackjack, on average, you will win one hand and lose one hand. If this holds true, then the only way to beat the house is for them to take less money from you when you lose and give you more money when you win. There is a simple strategy that will do just that.
Let's assume we're playing at a $10 minimum blackjack table. In that case, what we want to do is bet $20 on our first hand. You'll see why in a second. Let's assume that we win that first hand. It is actually a statistical fact that 70% of the people are up on the casinos at one time or another but the reason they lose is because they keep betting. So, given we have now won $20, what we want to do, on our next hand, is drop our bet down to the table minimum, or $10.
Take a look at what happens if we lose that bet. We won the first bet at $20, lost the second bet at $10. We've played the house even, having won one and lost one, and  are $10 up on them. Okay, get it? Do you see how powerful this system is? In a choppy table of win-lose-win-lose, you can really clean up.
The rest of the progression goes like this...$15, $20, $25, $30, $ so on until you lose. Then you start all over again at $20 dropping down to $10 after a win. If you lose three straight, you walk away from the table.

Football Betting Strategy - Tips on How to Win In Sports Betting

Sports betting has become a pastime for many and a recreation for many sports enthusiast. As football has many followers from around the globe, it has also made more exciting by betting done by enthusiasts and making guesses on who would win the game.
If you are an avid football follower and you are also into football betting, it is important to have your football betting strategy so that you can increase your chances of winning and of course, managing your risks as well. Of course, you are putting your money on the outcome of the game and for sure, you would not also want to simply lose it all.
If you are an enthusiast in sports betting, here are a few tips that might help you in placing good bets and in helping you reduce the risks and increasing your chances of winning.
- Know the teams. Have a research on the teams playing. Of course, with a good background on their past performances, training and past injuries can help you check out if they have the higher chances of winning the game over the other. This is one way of narrowing your risks in your betting and will also help you make a good choice when it comes the choice of team.
- Learn whereto put your money. In sports betting, there are different bets that you can choose from and your choice is crucial as different types of bets have different chances of winning and have varying risks as well. You can bet on the team that will win, which is called the straight bet and you can bet also on two teams winning in different games in no particular order. You can also bet on the scores of the game at halftime or after the entire game, and many other types of bets. Keep in mind that the more risks you are putting your money into, the higher winnings you can get and that should be a consideration.
- Learn to manage your money. In betting where there is no clear cut way to win, it is always important to manage your money well. Make sure to bet only on the most profitable wager type. Flat betting is also another football betting strategy that you can use to help you manage your money. This is done by betting a flat rate or same amount every game. Of course, winning on a small bet and losing on a bigger bet will still be losing for you, so flat betting can be a way to make good winnings.
These are just a few things that you can keep in mind in trying to make a football betting strategy. Keep in mind to also have fun as betting in sports is made not to earn money but to make the game more fun. Do not dwell too long on your loses and do not chase it as well. This will only lead you to more impulsive betting and may lead you to more losing as well.

How Do the Football Pools Differ From Fixed Odds Betting?

How does Football Pools betting differ from other types of Sports Betting?
Consider conventional betting on a horse race or the outcome of a single football match. A punter (someone placing a bet) is quoted odds by a bookmaker ('bookie', turf accountant and so on) either face to face, over the telephone or online. Now, the odds that are quoted when the price is first set are based on the bookie's initial perception of the odds of a given result.
As the event gets nearer, the odds quoted by the bookie 'drift out' - that is, get longer (say from 4/1 to 10/1) or shorten (say from 4/1 to 7/2). Obviously we're using the UK fractional odds system here, not US or European - this does not alter the principle though.
Now, this change of odds is purely a result of the bets that the bookie is receiving and the money the bookie has at risk. It is not at all related to the 'real odds' (whatever they are) of the outcome of the event. The bookie is merely shortening the odds to protect himself (because he is taking too many bets at long odds which would be painful for him to lose), or lengthening the odds on other horses to balance off the shorter priced horses by moving the betting away from the favourite, again to protect himself or herself.
If the bookmaker's book is getting out of balance, perhaps by having taken several large bets, then they will insure themselves by 'laying-off' - placing bets of their own with other bookies to offset their risk. The principles are the same in hedge funds and stock trading.
Of course, on a 'quiet day', bookies may also offer generous odds as a way of drumming up business.
What this boils down to is that if you bet when odds are first available for the event, then you will probably get a close to realistic odds for the real outcome of the event (in the view of the bookie).
When the bet is placed, the punter knows in advance what the payout will be for a given result (irrespective of when the bet is placed). The principle is the same for a fixed odds bet on a football match. However, there are only four possible outcomes of a football match for the team you select (win, lose, score draw, no score draw), ignoring voids. So on a random basis for a single football match the odds are 1 in 4 of a correct single result forecast. For a horse race with 8 horses, random odds are 1 in 8 for single result forecast (win, lose) - a 'place' is really 3 bets.
How does that differ from the pools, and what are the chances of winning the football pools?
In UK football pools, the punter is betting that a certain set of matches will return a certain result (for example 8 draws or 11 home wins in 49 matches). Odds are not fixed at the time of the bet. There is no advance knowledge of the number of draws there will be on a given coupon. In the 2008/2009 English season, there were 355 score draws on 42 coupons - an average of 8.4 score draws per coupon. Including no-score draws, the figure is 544 draws, an average of 12.8 draws per coupon. 28 coupons had 12 or more draw games on them.
The chances of forecasting a single correct line of 8 score draws when there are only 8 score draw results, are 450 million to 1. It is a big number, but with a low cost for each 'line', or bet, and some careful form analysis, it is possible to get the odds down to as low as 3/1 at a reasonable level of stake.

A Winning NFL Spread Betting Strategy

Most sports bettors like to bet on the NFL. Your author is no exception. But it is a lot more fun now that I have learned how to win using the point spreads. Over the last few years I have won between 55 and 64% of the games I bet. And many of the bets I place are based on nothing more than the point spread number and game situation.
Most bettors have no idea how they can use point spreads in the NFL to gain an advantage. They use the spread numbers only as a guide to interpreting their statistical handicapping. In other words, a point spread bet is nothing more than a guess.
If you desire to win betting on point spreads in the NFL, you need a strategy that will allow you to do it. That strategy has to be to bet on every game where the point spread number has shown a long term probability of the outcome going one way or the other. Any spread that has shown a 53% or greater win rate should be bet, and there are many that have shown such an advantage.
A winning NFL spread betting strategy uses verified information about the past performance of spreads over a long time. That information is applied by placing only bets where the advantage exceeds 53% so you are betting every game with a known advantage.
The result is that you will win money the same way the house does at every casino. They have an advantage on every bet. A winning NFL spread betting strategy will put that advantage in your favor so you can be the winner.
Sports betting on point spreads is the only opportunity in gambling that presents such an advantage to the player. But you can only take advantage of it with the right information and the strategy to apply it.

Spread Betting For a Living

Spread Betting for a living can certainly be a daunting prospect especially when you first start out. The initial learning phase involved in spread betting or any other form of trading is arguably the most important phase of all. It's the time when you will develop yourself and train to become the trader you ultimately want to be. This initial phase will be when you are most likely to give up and walk away never to return. If however, you can make it through this phase you should be well on your way to spread betting for a living. I have compiled my Top 5 tips to help you get through this first phase.
Tip 1. Learn to Master Yourself
In my view this is the most important step to becoming successful enough to spread bet for a living. You will need to get your emotions in check if you are going to make a success of trading. Do not get emotionally involved with the trades you make. Plan each end every trade you make and trade that plan. Do not deviate from it as this will mean you are emotionally involved with the trade. As soon as you become emotionally involved you are almost guaranteed to lose. Your emotions will see you holding out for more and more profits only to see them disappear or become a loss. It will see you holding onto a loss only to see that loss get bigger and bigger. If this sounds like you then you need to master yourself before you continue to trade.
Tip 2. Develop your Spread Betting Strategy
A spread betting strategy of some kind is a must if you want to keep your emotions in check. It should govern everything about your trade. It should indicated when to enter, where to place your stop loss, if and when to move your stop loss, when to exit the trade, what your position size should be. The list goes on and it's important that you recognise that in order to succeed you will need a strategy in place.
Tip 3. Start Small and Build
No one that is successful in trading has started out in a big way. They started small and have built from there. Some people advocate the use of demo accounts to test out your trading before you start for real. I personally don't like this idea. When you have fake money you will not trade with the discipline you would if the money was real. Therefore I think spread betting with small stakes is the best way to start. There are some companies out there that allow you to start trading with as little as A0.10 per point for the first few weeks. I would suggest you make good use of this and use it to develop and test the trading strategy that you employ.
Tip 4. Read Plenty of Books
Your spread betting education is essential if you want to get on with spread betting. There are numerous courses you can go on some more expensive than others but I think one of the best ways is to teach yourself. There are some home study courses out there and there are also plenty of books. Do some searching read some reviews and then get learning. I think you might be surprised just how much learning it takes to make a success of spread betting.
Tip 5. Learn from Others Experiences
In my opinion plenty of experience is required to spread bet for a living. The thing is how can you get experience if you've never spread bet before? Well the answer is you can't but, what you can do is learn from the experiences of others. These days with an ever expanding wealth of information on the internet you will find all sorts of traders that share their experiences on blogs and forums. All you need to do is dig around and find the ones you like.

How To Grind Out a Profit With The Best Roulette Strategies

Most roulette gamblers are trying very hard to find a winning strategy to help them make consistent winning at the wheel. Are you among them? Have you found yours? If not, where to find one? If you are one of them, you definitely want to know how to grind out a profit with a roulette strategy that works.
Don't be disappointed if I tell you that you probably can't find one because there is no strategy that can guarantee you to win at roulette. However, there are good roulette strategies around, which you can implement to make a net win and generate a profit from the game. This article will discuss 2 roulette betting strategies that work for many players to grand out a profit from the game.
First of all you have to really commit to yourself not to become emotional in gambling because it is the key factor that makes most players lost at the casino. Believe me, most of times players lose the game not because they can't find a good roulette betting strategy, but because of their emotional behavior. They become greedy and want to win more when they win. On the other hand, they become panic when facing consecutive losses and start to bet wildly that cause them to lose all them money.
Strategy #1: Chaos Betting Strategy
Based on the Chaos Theory, in any random event, you will always find natural threads of order. Roulette is a game of chance. Based on the theory of probability, all the numbers have the same chance of winning in the long-term. But, in the short-term chaos theory becomes true as some numbers tend to turn up more frequently than others. If you could identify the numbers, you can grind out a profit with the Chaos Betting Strategy. The strategy requires you to monitor the spin results and record the stats box, and identify the numbers that repeat themselves within a certain number of spins. These are the winning numbers that you can bet on to make winning from the game. Most often, the strategy is used on straight-up bet. However, you can also apply the strategy on column/row bet or even-money bet.
Strategy #2: Double Columns Or Rows Betting Strategy
The best chance of winning is to have you cover as much of the board as possible. The double columns or rows betting strategy enables you to cover for 24/37 numbers (for European wheel) giving you 64.5% of winning probability. The Roulette table has 3 columns and 3 rows that pay 2-to-1 on each column/row winning. In the double columns/rows betting strategy, you can choose to play on column/row or both.
Let's say to choose to play at column, place 1 chip on 2 of 3 columns. If the outcome hits one of columns that you bet, you win 1 chip: you bet 2 chips, one on each column, the winning column pay 2-to-1, so you get 3 chips from each winning turn; else if the outcome hits the column without the betting chip, you lose 2 chips. In short, if outcome hits the column you bet, you win one chip, else you lose 2 chips. By using this strategy, you have 64.5% of chance to hit a winning turn on each spin, but if you lose, you have to win 2 turns to recover your losses.
How to select the 2 columns/rows to increase your chance of winning? Many Roulette players use it together with the Chaos Betting Strategy. They wait for chaos signals before they place their bet.
Summary
Although there is no roulette strategy that can guarantee a winning, but there are strategies to increase the winning odds and enable you to grind out a profit from the game. The above 2 roulette betting strategies are among the best that work for many players to win at the wheel.

Play Roulette For Money and For Fun

Aside from the usual ways to make money on the internet, which are also now being swarmed over by internet savvy individuals, there are also other risky but can-be profitable ventures online that can also make you good money. One of this is to play roulette for money.
Roulette is a game of chance that makes you win money if you made the right guess on where a ball will land on a big wheel spun by a dealer. If you have been to casinos, you would be familiar with the roulette game and it seems an easy game to understand. Indeed, the rules of the game is quite easy to understand and in fact, it is not as complex as learning poker and other gambling games.
If you want to play roulette for money, and make a fairly good amount of profit in this game of chance, here are a few tips that might help you.
If you want to play roulette online, which is a convenient way these days, always check if the site is authentic. Of course, you would not want to waste money for some fraudulent sites.
Before playing, always set a limit as to how much you are willing to risk for the game and stick to that amount when playing. Set an amount too that you can afford to lose, and do not go beyond that. It is important to that you have to have self-control when playing in this game of chance. Winning in a game of roulette is mostly by chance thus, if you have been into a series of losses for the day, then you have to learn to stop.
It is also wise not to bet big on one spin. Again, roulette is a game of chance and you will never know if you will win or lose and if you do lose, losing a big chunk of your money may not be fun. Learn to pace your game well. Don't be in such in a hurry. A good paced game will also allow you to enjoy the game. You don't have to bet on every spin. If you are not feeling lucky on a bet, then you can skip a spin.
Keep in mind too that if you want to play roulette for money, be aware that there is what is called an American roulette and European roulette and f you want to make money out of this game, you can choose to play the European roulette over the American one. The European roulette has only one zero in contrast to the double zeros in the American roulette which can be translated into having more odds of winning with the former.
There are also a lot of strategies used if you want to play roulette for money. Although this game is purely by chance, it is important also that you have self-control in putting your bets, and in increasing or decreasing your bets depending on how lucky your feel for the day.

What to Avoid When Playing Roulette

You've probably heard of the casino game roulette. You know that one where the winner is decided by a spin of a wheel? Yes, that's it, and it truly is very popular to both online and casino gamblers. This fame has led casinos to emblazon roulette or references thereof on their names and logograms. Indeed, this casino game has become one of the icons of casino gambling and among the most celebrated gambling activities.
Roulette's popularity hinges on two factors. One is its easy and straightforward gameplay while the other is the ease of winning the game in comparison to other gambling sports. In all seriousness, it won't be surprising if you find yourself attracted to the game as well. If you're up to play it, then you might as well learn the things you should do away with when trying to enjoy the game. Such are listed below:
1. Overspending.
Don't spend a good chunk of your money on roulette. Just spend the amount you can easily let go of, i. e. what won't leave a bad dent to your overall finances. This shall allow you to enjoy the game guilt-free and with your lifestyle's status quo maintained afterwards.
2. Wagering on single bets.
Single bets are very hard to win and betting on one or a combination of the numbers on the roulette table is an easy way to lose cash. At best, place your stakes on outside bets, preferably on the even-money ones, e. g. black and red, where you can get near 50% winning odds.
3. Betting at random.
Have a system and do not wager randomly as it only leads to frustrating losses. Learn various roulette strategies like Martingale and Cancellation online. These strategies - which are basically betting systems - allows you to make decisions that adjust to the previous spin results and can get you profit in the event of a win.
4. Cursing.
Losses in roulette are inevitable and a losing streak is highly probable. Should you suffer one or a series of losses, remember to keep your cool and avoid yelling out cuss words out of frustration, lest you encourage other players to do likewise and affect the civil atmosphere in the casino.
5. Attempting to make profit.
Roulette is easy to win and it's possible to profit from it at the end of the day. Do not however, chase after profits alone. Such behavior will only keep you from truly enjoying the game and lead to disappointment should the goal of making money is not realized.
6. Playing beyond your original bankroll.
Play only by your means. Go home and get some rest once you've exhausted your bankroll but do not extend your play time by tapping other financial sources. Doing so will only lead to bankruptcy and knee-deep debt.
7. Cheating.
Just don't. It's no longer fun when the randomness is gone and when you end up banned or blacklisted once you get caught.
Now you can enjoy playing roulette armed with the knowledge you've just acquired from these tips. Just remember to enjoy the game, and don't view it as something that you must beat.

A Moment's Thought on Roulette Systems

Despite what any website tells you there is definitely, positively no way to guarantee winning at roulette other than owning a casino. All the systems sound plausible, taking little snippets of mathematical theory to prove their points whilst ignoring the facts that disprove them.
However I always think some of these systems are maligned a little too much and I'll tell you why. Certainly Martingale isn't going to make you rich but in some ways it will stop you playing roulette like an idiot. Have you ever like me sat at a roulette table either virtual or real and watched people shower the table with random chips. In many cases they are betting against themselves and minimizing their chances of winning.
Following a system will not ensure you leave the casino with a big grin and a bigger pile of cash. But it doesn't mean you won't either. Following a system does enforce some discipline and protect against those stupid wild, chip tossing bets that make no sense whatsoever.
The two main problems I have with the majority of roulette systems is that firstly they often make the game a little dull. Rigidly following something like Oscars Grind can make the most exciting game rather dreary. But the biggest problem is that they change the expectation of the player. You should never play at a casino with the attitude that you can't lose, because you can and if you think you can't you'll lose even more.
In a perfect world you actually couldn't lose using Martingale for instance, but in the real world you'll be stopped by the house limit or decide not to place a 30000 dollar bet to make an overall profit of 5 dollars. The real world is where we do our gambling and that is ultimately the problem with Martingale and the majority of the systems.

Rule #1: Blind Bets
Two people seated to the left of the person dealing the cards should place blind bets first. The player to sitting two places left of the dealer should place a big blind and the player to the immediate left should place the small blind. Blinds are the bet amounts to be placed before the commencement of the game. Since the bet is placed before the cards are dealt, they are referred to as "blinds".
Rule #2: The Play
Once the blinds are placed, the cards are dealt face down by the dealer. These cards are referred to as pocket cards or hole. Post this, the second round of betting commences. This is followed by another set of community cards being dealt, but this time it is just one card each. The showdown occurs after the river betting round. During showdown, the person with the best cards gets to take home the money. If nobody place a river bet, then, it is the person who is sitting on the immediate left of the dealer who starts the showdown. From here on, it proceeds clockwise round the table. Poker Cardroom Rules For Casinos - Understanding Them Before You Play

Poker Cardroom Rules For Casinos - Understanding Them Before You Play
Poker cardrooms are usually separate from other rooms in the casino. When walking into the main floor you will typically see a large sign that says "Cardroom" above it. This is where the poker games are held in order to keep things organized from the rest of the casino. There are a few variants of poker in US casinos, so keep that in mind when starting to play for the first time. Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud, and Omaha hold 'em are the most common variants.
Keep in mind that waiting lists are part of all poker games. Tables are managed based on whoever gets there first, so you may have to wait if all tables are full. This usually isn't a problem though, unless you have time restraints to adhere to.
After you get in a game keep in mind that house fees are part of poker. The "rake" as they call it, is a commission of fees taken by the casino and table. These fees vary widely and can range from 3% to 10% depending on the stakes and more.
When playing any poker game the hands must be protected at all times. Your cards must be clearly concealed and not visible by any angle. This can lead to mucking by the dealer. Keep in mind that acting out of turn such as suggesting a movement or acting too eager can also lead to a person being removed from the table.
If you follow the simple rules of poker gameplay, you shouldn't have any difficulty playing a good and competitive game with fellow players. Making even small mistakes however can cost you your bet and result in you being removed from the casino floor. It is best to follow the rules and ask about specific requirements before starting a game to be sure.A
